TangoFit on ZOOM

Mondays @7pm (PST)

Join us live via ZOOM, for a TangoFit session. We'll do 1h of exercises from the Technique Course including a 15min strength & stretch break.

During the class, we do the drills back-to-back, with minimum explanations. All the breakdowns of the drills are available in detail in the Technique Course, so that you can study at your own pace.

A recording of each class is available to members for 14 days. Go to: Dashboard --> Live Class Recordings.

Looking forward to seeing you!

As someone who struggles with consistency, TangoFit has provided a lot of structure and joy to my tango practice, particularly during quarantine. Liz and Emma are such effective and encouraging instructors who not only demonstrate optimal technique, but also have a gift for explaining movement mechanics in incredibly accessible ways. Drills that once felt muscular / tense / unstable now feel relaxed / free / precise. I look forward to this course every week!

The Los Angeles Tango Academy has set the standard for online tango instruction with comprehensive classes to keep you improving your dance whether you have access to a partner or not. I do their hour long Full Workout class as often as possible. They offer live zoom classes three times a week which allow you to ask the instructors about your technique. Each month they change some of the drills to keep your workout fresh and challenging. I have been able to dance every day during quarantine thanks to LATA. You can also learn about the music, how to strengthen your feet to dance in heels, and do strengthening and stretching exercises. It is also incredibly affordable. there is a low flat monthly fee the more you practice the cheaper it gets! I do a class every day and after only about a month really feel the improvement especially in strength and balance.

While practicing solo feels very different and will never replace dancing with a partner, it’s essential to becoming the dancers we want to be...
